December 3rd: Hey there everyone! I just wanted to post a quick note... I have a TON of new pictures from RY's stint on the Hotel Cafe Tour to update with, but unfortunately will be delayed a bit in posting them... the BF bought us a new super shiny huge hard drive for the computer, and it has to be installed today... so if I do anything NEW right now, I'll have to back up everything again (which I just did Friday/Saturday). As soon as the new hard drive is installed, and I can go about my happy way to putting new files into folders without screwing everything up (or losing stuff! eek!), the update will go up! Sorry to test your patience! hehe. See you soon!
December 1st: ATTENTION RY FANS IN HAWAII! Looks like our girl is visiting you! She will be playing a free benefit show at Ala Moana Center, from 1 to 5 p.m. Saturday. See the link HERE for details! Anyone who goes should, of course, take some pictures and send them my way for the site! hehe. Enjoy your weekend and your December. the Holidays are coming... way too fast!
November 25th: The pictures have begun to roll in! RY's venture on the Hotel Cafe Tour has come to an end, but we can continue to enjoy it by checking out various people's pictures from the tour, right? Today we have pictures from Birmingham (Thanks Marko!), Dallas (Thanks Art!), Anaheim (Thanks Lindsay!), and Los Angeles (Thanks Leslie & Kristen!). Go on and check them out in the Pictures section! On TOP of all the awesome new pics, we also got some great news from Miss Coralie (thanks girl!) about a new song featuring our girl RY! This is a song with producer Robin Danar, a cover of the Rolling Stones song "2000 Light Years From Home"! Robin's CD hasn't been picked up just yet, but you can hear this (and a few other amazing songs!) over at his MySpace page RIGHT HERE! What a great ending to my holiday weekend. Hope you all enjoy!
November 12th: Hello all! Hope you are all doing well! I was lucky enough to catch our girl RY in Nashville last weekend, and finally got my pictures back! You can check them out *finally* today! Have you attended any of the Hotel Cafe Tour shows? Did you get pictures? Wouldn't you like to have them hosted on my site for all other RY fans to enjoy? Sure you would! hehe. EMAIL ME HERE if you have some you'd like to share! I have also added the movie "Aurora Borealis" to the Discography page... the movie features our girl's song "Meet Me By the Water". Be sure to check them out HERE!
October 14th: Quick update today! First, special thanks to my girl Kerry for finding us a picture from the video with Rhett Miller for "Fireflies"! Now, if only we could see the video itself! All in good time, I hope... As for other news, I have found out that Rachael will be featured on a new compilation CD called "All Together Now". It is a Beatles tribute, and will be geared towards kids! Rachael's song on the album is "Here Comes the Sun". This album will be available on November 7th EXCLUSIVELY at Barnes & Noble. Then, in May, it will be more widely released. Here is an article with more details. Also, you can PREORDER YOUR COPY HERE! Enjoy your weekend!
October 4th: RY Fans! It is time to rejoice, as we FINALLY have a little peek at what is to come with Rachael's next album! Be sure to go to Rachael's MySpace page, and check out the new song "Recovery". It is listed as a "demo with Chris Hodge". It is amazing!
September 20th: Hello everyone! We've got some great news today! Rachael has signed on for a bunch of dates with the Hotel Cafe Tour! Check the Tour Dates section of this page to get all the important info! As well, in case you missed it, the direct link to check out Rachael's live Indie 103.1 video performance on Rehearsals.com is RIGHT HERE!! Enjoy!!
September 14th: Hey everyone! Just a quick reminder to check out www.Rehearsals.com tomorrow to see the video of Rachael's performance from last week's live radio 103.1 show! I don't know what time the site will be updated, but there is already a preview up. I can't wait to watch it! Oh, and if anyone knows how to SAVE the video, please let me know... I have to find a way to get it into my "inventory" before it disappears. hehe. Thanks in advance!
September 10th: Anyone miss last Sunday's Indie 103.1 performance? Well, you're in luck! They finally added the podcast for it over at their website HERE! Special Thanks to Henri for pointing it out to me :) The file is called "Zach Braff The Last Kiss Broadcast on Indie Part 3". She played 3 songs live in the studio: "Be Your Love", "Reason Why", and "Elephants Remember"!! The best part about all of this is that the performances were all filmed, and are supposed to play online on September 15th ("Rehearsals.com" is what Zach Braff said, but that doesn't look correct when I looked at it... I'll give more info when I know more!). I cannot wait to see it :) If anyone has any more information on that broadcast, please email me so I can get it up here so nobody misses out. THANKS!
August 26th: Well, it looks like slowly but surely... our girl RY is emerging back out into the open! Her song "Reason Why" is featured on the brand new Zach Braff movie soundtrack "The Last Kiss". As well, in support of that soundtrack, she will be performing LIVE IN STUDIO at a Zach Braff / "The Last Kiss" radio extravaganza on Indie 103.1 FM on Sunday, September 3rd! This is a 6 hour program, and features a few musicians from the soundtrack along with Rachael. I have not seen a TIME listed yet, but will try to post it as soon as I find out! I'm just glad it is online AND on a Sunday! Be sure to check it out at their website: http://www.indie1031.fm/. As for RY's new album, we just don't have any news at all yet... Stay tuned!
July 23rd: Happy Hot Summer, everyone! Sorry for the long time between updates... It has been a very hot and stressful summer for me (no air conditioning where the computer is set up, on top of other issues). I hope you can forgive me! I have a few new things today for you, to make up for it: Pictures have been added from the May 17th, 2005 show in Boston & the recent Cleveland show (Thanks Heidi!). As well, there are a few new rumors over in the Buzz! Click the icon above for more details! I have also updated the Discography section (to include info on the newly released Austin City Limits 2005 CD/DVD combo, which features TWO performances AND a couple of interviews!), and edited a bit of the Biography. Hope you all have enjoyed July, and are getting excited for RY's new album to be released! As soon as I have ANY news on the release date, I will let you know :)
June 4th: Well, I promised you them, and here they are! Today I have updated the site with some pictures from Rachael's show in Cleveland last Saturday! Special thanks to Dorrie and Kerry for donating them to the site! There should be more very soon, as well... Anyone else have pictures from last week's shows (or any others)? Feel free to EMAIL ME with them!
May 30th: Hello everyone!! Long time no update... I'm sorry for that! Been very busy at work and all... but, well, I just got back from my RY Roadtrip! I was able to attend Rachael's Chicago AND Cleveland shows opening for Gavin DeGraw this past weekend! It was amazing to see her perform again, and we were treated to 2 brand new songs! I was lucky enough to get a copy of one of the setlists in Chicago, and can confirm that one was called "Little Lite" and the other was "The Only Fault". Both were beautiful! Rachael also mentioned during her Chicago performance that her album is recorded, but they still have to narrow down the song list and mix everything. *sigh*. Here's hoping it comes out by the fall! I was able to get a few pictures in Chicago, so be sure to check them out! Stay tuned for some pictures as well from Cleveland :)
May 6th: Happy May, everyone! Not much to update today, but I wanted to remind everyone going to Rachael's shows this month to be sure to send any pictures you take in to put up on the site! You can email them to me :) I will be attending BOTH shows, so feel free to come up and say "hi!". Special thanks today also goes out to Roxana, who made us a few new avatars! Check them out HERE.
April 19th: Good morning everyone! It has been CONFIRMED! Rachael has at least TWO live shows scheduled for the end of May! Check out our tour section to see where the lucky fans will be... I am now obsessively looking for a good travel deal, but not coming to find any. *boohoo* On top of this great news, I also heard a little rumor that there may be a VIDEO filmed for Rachael's song with Rhett Miller "Fireflies"! Nothing is confirmed yet on that, but I'll be sure to let you know if I hear anything else!
April 12th: We have an exciting update for all you Rachael fans today! If you haven't seen it yet... RY has checked in with all of us over at her Official Website. There, you will read about a bunch of cool news! First, she mentioned that she is FINALLY recording her new album! *happy dance* She also mentions that she 1) has a song, "Sun", on the upcoming Ben Arthur album ("Bodega") and 2) has worked on a song, "Blister of the Spotlight", with new artist Chris Holmes which is currently only available over at Itunes! Check them both out! The Discography section has been updated with this information, and gives a direct link to where to buy the songs. Rachael also talked a bit about her work with Mandy Moore, which is something I'm definitely looking forward to hearing. Until next time... enjoy your day!
April 9th: Hey there RY fans! I just wanted to let you know about a cool new affliliate that I have added today! Check out Graziano's amazing Italian Blink 182 site! I have also added his fancy banner below! Maybe I'll be inspired to make some fancy new ones for myself, huh? Too cool. As well, I have removed "Fiona Apple Argentina", as the link isn't coming up anymore. If that was your site, and you're still around... email me! I've misplaced your contact info, and didn't know if you were still around... Lastly, for those of you interested, special thanks to Jordan for giving me some details about Rachael's performance over at the Vail Film Festival. He let me know that she played "all new songs except for Worn Me Down", and that he wasn't sure of the titles of any except for "What if I Leave?". She played about 5 songs total. On top of her solo acoustic performance, she ALSO played some songs with Joshua Radin, Percy, and Cary Brothers on their sets! I wish I had known about this ahead of time... I may have had to schedule a little trip! Ah well... at least we are getting closer to getting some new material from her. Cross your fingers it won't be too much longer!
April 4th: Hooray! RY fans, we have some NEW content today! Last weekend, Rachael was a performer at the Vail Film Festival. You can check out some pictures from the event HERE! Enjoy! Also, if you're looking for something new in a "six degrees of separation" sort of way in relation to Rachael, look no further than Brian Kingston! Brian has just recorded his new album with the same bassist and drummer that Rachael used to record "Happenstance". Check him out!
