August 30th: Randomly, I discovered our girl Rachael in the music magazine, Harp! I have added the scan for you today. You can either look under "Scans", or click on the picture to your left. :)
August 28th: Happy Saturday! Rachael's official website has added a bunch of new pictures, and I have added them HERE under "Official Pictures". Also, someone at her official site's forum said that, at her Fez show in NYC the other night, she mentioned that she will be on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno the week of August 30th! The exact date has not been announced, but I will be sure to capture it on my computer, and be able to finally have a video hosted in my Media section! Woohoo! Oh, I almost forgot: Thanks so Christa! She not only donated some blends to put up, but also inspired the new "Donated" feature in the "Media" section of this site!
August 25th: Hello everyone! Not much on the Rachael front to update... but I have added in 2 new links for you to check out! They both involve a great guy that seems to be the most multi-tasked man of the hour! JP has worked with Rachael, and you can check out his band, Pieces of Flair, HERE, and his production company, Key West Productions, HERE! Go over there and give him some support!
August 23rd: I have added a few new scans today! Thanks to the wonderful world of Ebay... I have added a scan from Teen Vogue, as well as two small random scans. :) This site has gotten a lot more traffic the past few days... I'm not sure where it is getting around, but I'm happy! I would like to encourage people to take a minute to post in my guestbook, and let me know where you found a link to this site. Also, the poor lonely forum is aching for you guys to join! Ok, I can't expect too much yet... but I need to know whether or not it is worth paying for the next month of it :)
August 22nd: I got the new GQ magazine today... you can check out the new scan under "Pictures"... or just click the image to your left!
*Edit: I have also added some blends and avatars for people to use into the Media section. If you haven't checked it out yet, there are also some Rachael wallpapers and icons there! Please be sure to save the graphics to your own computer to use... direct linking will cause the bandwidth her to be eaten up, resulting in the site shutting down... you wouldn't want that to happen, would you?
August 21st: Once again, I have reason to thank Dana! She has supplied me with the lyrics to another "rare" Rachael song, "The Other Side". Now, we will all have to cross our fingers that someday Rachael's label will let her put out a rarities CD, so we can HEAR the songs, and not just read the lyrics. haha! Cross them hard, my fellow Rachael lovers! Also, I have scanned the June/July Elle Girl magazine. Oh! I also saw on her official page that she is in the September issue of GQ... guess what I'm going to buy today! Enjoy your weekend...
August 19th: Rachael's 2 shows for the Tin Angel in Philadelphia are now rescheduled for Wednesday September 22nd. Yay! Anyone that purchased tickets for the original date is guaranteed tickets to the rescheduled one. It is still, at this time, a SOLD OUT show. Also, on a side note, Rachael's label (RCA Victor) has it listed on their website that her video "Worn Me Down" will "appear nationally in September on MTV's "Advanced Warning"". So, everyone keep an eye open for that! I would love to catch that and host it on this site! There would probably be an interview or something :) Keep your fingers crossed!
August 16th: Unfortunately, Rachael's 2 shows scheduled for Thursday night (August 19th) at the Tin Angel in Philadelphia have been cancelled. Reportedly, according to the message left when you call the Tin Angel, there was a death in Rachael's family. As disappointing as a cancelled show can be, we want Rachael to know that she is in our thoughts, and we'll be here when she is ready to come back to Philadelphia with open arms. There are a million things in life more important than a concert. No news yet regarding whether or not her following shows in New York City will be effected. Stay tuned here, at the Reason Why, for more details about the rescheduling of that show.
August 14th: Well, it seems Rachael has passed into unknown territory... the teen pop world! HAHA. Ok, not really... but she IS in the magazine "Popstar" featured as a new rising star! That is actually pretty cool, since it means she is making a good impression on people in all different "worlds". I have added the scan from that magazine today! Don't laugh... I am a magazine-aholic... and had to pick it up (I browse through all sorts of magazines in ALL stores). Also, Rachael has added a lot of new tourdates over the past few days, so be sure to check under the tour section so you don't miss out! *Note: Some of the venues are very obscure, so (instead of linking people to the wrong place) I did not put links in for them. If you can help me out on the missing links, please email me! I also didn't link the college ones... I could not find any info on their sites that would be a good place to link you to. I am personally thrilled by the new tourdates, and will be traveling to visit my best friends in Maine the weekend she is playing there! Also, stay tuned to this site... I will also be attending Rachael's show next Thursday in Philadelphia, and should be able to get some great pictures for the site! YAY! Enjoy your weekend!
August 11th, 2004: Woohoo! I currently have 35 hits to this site in about 24 hours! haha! I am so proud :) Special thanks to Sarah for sending me her typed up "Ode To..." lyrics... I definitely appreciate it! Typing up lyrics can be quite the task...

August 9th, 2004: Hey everyone! I want to thank Dana for the tips she gave me for improving the site today! I have, thanks to her, put some Bumpus links/info up on the site. Also, everyone that did not yet, MUST go buy the Toots CD that Rachael is on! OMG... "Blame on Me" is the most amazing song... I have been listening to it on repeat all night. LOL
August 7th, 2004: The site is filling up nicely! I am only missing some sort of media. Obviously, I don't want to violate any copyright laws... so I am just hoping they rerun her Conan O'Brien episode or something. That way, I can capture the performance and have it here on the site for you all to download! I didn't get to see it when it was originally aired, unfortunately. On that note, anyone with any media that they would like to have hosted on this site, feel free to email me! I will gladly accept any "donations". hehe.

August 1st, 2004: Today is our Grand Opening! I am Denise, and this is my site dedicated to the most talented singer to come around in YEARS, Rachael Yamagata.
