January 20th: Just a quick update today! Thanks to the sleuthing of Kerry, we now know that Rachael is working with Dan Wilson (of Semisonic) on her new album! Since they are one of my favorite bands, this is really great news to me :) The link provided links to Dan's blog where he mentions our girl RY. How cool! As well today, I wanted to make everyone aware of the super cool remix available of Worn Me Down over at Rachael's MySpace account! This is not confirmed, but it is said the remix was done by Marcus Dravs, a trance dj. Check that out!
January 14th: Hey there! We don't have a big update today, but I was given some super lovely avatars for the site as a gift from the wonderful Miss Roxana! Special Thanks to her. Check out her Alicia Keys site sometime, as it is the best on the net! Find the new avatars in the Media section of the site :)
December 30th: Happy New Year everyone! I hope you have all had a wonderful holiday season... It is great to be back on here with an update (finally!). We have some great pictures taken at RY's July 1st show in Chicago (Thanks to Rachel Levitin!) & from CityStages (Thanks to Matt Cuthbert, al.com!); As well there is another radio picture over in Miscellaneous. I have also linked to Mac & Slater's radio show in the Audio section, where you can listen to their great interview with Rachael from a few months back. On top of that, I have added lyrics to FOUR songs! Rachael's 2 songs with Bill Deasy, her 1 with Rhett Miller, and her new cover tune "Jesus Was a Crossmaker" NOW AVAILABLE at Itunes exclusively! On top of all of that, I am offering you all a special picture download, to celebrate the New Year! This will only be available on the site for about a week... so get it while you can!
December 3rd: Hello everyone! Please forgive the lack of updates... Just know that I am out here doing my best to give you anything new on our favorite girl Rachael :) While she is on a little break writing and recording her new album (can't wait!) it is a bit hard to find things to update with. BUT, today, I was able to get something for you! I found an old Chicago magazine called "Illinois Entertainer" from October 2003... so check out the scans! As well, I added a few new things to the Discography section under "Compilations". Enjoy!
November 14th: Well, I have yet another discovery for you Rachael completists... Seems that Rachael was featured on the recent release by singer Bill Deasy entitled "Chasing Down a Spark"! November 5th: RY fans! We have some more exciting news for all of you! It was discovered today that Rachael has collaborated with yet another impressive musician! Rachael has recorded a duet with Old 97's singer Rhett Miller, entitled "Fireflies". "Fireflies" will appear on his upcoming solo project "the Believer". The album is set to be released February 28th, 2006! Now, if we can only handle waiting that long to hear it :)
